FIELD OPERATIONS MANAGER

Process HVAC Solutions, LLC is a systems automation provider for HVAC and mechanical systems in mission critical environments. We specialize in high tier level data centers and biotech/pharmaceutical facilities. Based in Lawrence, PA, PHS is looking for a well-qualified person to join a growing company as a Field Operations Manager.

Job Summary:

The Field Operations Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing a team of Project Managers and Field Engineers. This position plays a crucial role in coordinating and optimizing field operations to ensure the successful execution of projects and the delivery of high-quality services to clients. The Field Operations Manager reports to the upper management and collaborates closely with various stakeholders, including project teams, clients, and internal departments.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to a team of Project Managers and Field Engineers.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to ensure their professional growth and development.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment, promoting teamwork and accountability.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers to set project goals, monitor progress, and resolve any issues or challenges that arise.
  • Review project deliverables to ensure compliance with quality standards and client requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize field operations, streamline processes, and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and leverage technological solutions for enhanced field operations.
  • Participate in client meetings, providing updates on project status, addressing concerns, and soliciting feedback.
  • Foster long-term relationships with clients by delivering exceptional service and identifying opportunities for business expansion.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement corrective measures and promote a culture of safety awareness.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Will possess hands on experience with DCS, PLC/HMI and/or conventional HVAC BAS/BMS systems
  • Proven experience in managing field operations, including project management and team leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of construction, engineering, or a similar industry.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
  • Must be willing to travel as required.
  • Must work well with others and present themselves in a professional manner with clients, other contractors and within PHS
